2016 NAPR Award Recipients

Before leaving his successful term as President of the NAPR, Craig Fowler, bestowed recognition and awards to a select few deserving members who work full time jobs and still give numerous hours volunteering to share their talents for the betterment of the NAPR.  

Jo-Ann Toldt, Website Committee Chair, was the deserving recipient of the “Outstanding Committee Chair of the Year”.  Toldt was recognized for her impressive work on a momentous task and successful achievement in the redesign of the NAPR website. Jo-Ann is a respected industry leader and member of the NAPR Board of Directors. 

The President’s Award is prestigious award given to a select few who have demonstrated dedication and commitment over a sustained period of time serving the NAPR. In Fowler’s description of the criteria for this award he stated, “…someone who has devoted time, knowledge, and creativity to support NAPR in its mission to promote ethical standards and deliver our services with the highest level of excellence as possible.”   This year, Nahry Minars was granted the President’s Award. Minars was noted as instrumental in the planning, execution and conference participation by hosting two innovative sessions at the 2016 NAPR conference.

Patrice Streicher, was acknowledged for her contributions and tireless service to NAPR and was given the “Outstanding Service” award as a retiring NAPR Board of Director member.  Streicher serves as the Chair of the Communications Committee.  

PracticeLink was awarded NAPR's Outstanding Vendor Member for their continued support of the organization and the industry.

It was a great conference and event, I would strongly recommend for anyone involved in physician recruiting to attend. It was great seeing everyone and we look forward to exhibiting next year! The convention committee had one of the best slate of speakers that I have seen in years.  Excellent program.  Those who did not attend missed out on a great venue.  The digital age with the program, etc. on the app I was a little unsure of at the beginning of the conference but by the second day, up and running and this old gal really enjoyed that connection.  I know that you all work hard to prepare for the convention and wanted you to know what a great job! If your program is as good next February as this one was I will have to fly to California for the convention.  -Brenda Lewis
